Principal Futurist and Director

Lizbet Simmons, PhD. helps individuals and organizations design their future and effect change with attention to their goals for the present, the near-future, and the far-future. In strategic partnership with her clients, she unlocks potential and enhances leadership performance to create the conditions for achievement and meaningful impact. She brings deep training in sociology and 25 years of experience in the corporate and non-profit sectors to her work as an executive coach, a philanthropic advisor, and a business strategist.

Dr. Simmons holds a PhD. in Social and Cultural Studies from UC Berkeley and certification in both Business Strategy and Non-Profit Leadership and Management from Harvard University. She has served on the faculty of UC Berkeley, SFSU, and UCLA and is a widely published expert on structures of opportunity. As a Senior Futurist and Insights leader, she has worked across technology, automotive, and media industries, in a range of corporations, including Cisco, Mercedes-Benz, ESPN, A+E Global Media, and Warner Bros. She is a regular keynote speaker on strategic futures and human-centered insights.
